The Best Friend

Best Friend
Proverbs 18 : 24

 Some* friends play at friendship*
but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.

You can define friend as a person you know well and regard with affection and trust.
A trusted person you can share your problems.
How Jesus Christ describe friendships John 15 : 14-15

14You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15I do not call you servants* any longer, because the servant* does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father

A secret can be told to a friend and he will never expose to another .and betray you.
A true friend never hurt to his friend or does any harm.
Supposing a group of Christians find fault with another faithful group, Doubt what they gossip in absence of one another.
True friends know each other. They love each other. No misunderstanding between them. You can share openly without any fear .He never stabs behind. Jesus is a friend. In Proverbs 17:17

17 A friend loves at all times,
and kinsfolk are born to share adversity.

The Way to live happily

Romans 3 Ch
20  For ‘no human being will be justified in his sight’ by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
21 But now, irrespective of law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, 22the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ* for all who believe. For there is no distinction,
Very often we come a cross religious people, very popular who are believed to be Christians, but living without peace of mind.  What are the problems they have?
Are they due to selfishness?
Most probably thinking   they have done the will of God successfully with certain things
Some times they will be proud.
A situation like that, seem to be no possibility of comfort or success.
Bible teaches us that are not the way to receive happiness or salvation.
The bible verse Rome 4 – 4

4Now to one who works, wages are not reckoned as a gift but as something due.

We never able to reach  God of our own strength and might. Bible is the blue print; we cannot get his approval by doing things of our own will
In  Isaiah 64 -6
6 We have all become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth.
We all fade like a leaf,
and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Apostle Paul clearly says in Romans  3 : 10 – 12

10as it is written:
‘There is no one who is righteous, not even one;
11   there is no one who has understanding,
there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned aside, together they have become worthless;
there is no one who shows kindness,
     there is not even one.’

It is Impotent to go back to Calvary where our savior scarifies his life to redeem our sins.
Not only  he completely glorified the Lord
He took our sins and crucified because of our selfishness, our pride, and unrighteousness.
So believing   Jesus Christ as our savior and obey to do his will not ours then  we have nothing to worry.

He will never let go my hand //
Though the storms  may come
And the wind may blow
He will never let go my hand.

Have patience

Psalm -25 : 17

To day every human being wish to get things done as fast as they can. Isn’t it? To day technology is improved .Communicating   facilities are available through email, faxes, mobile phones and in computer.
Transactions can be done through ATM. So many facilities are available to human being for speedily get things done.
When you go to a place to get a job done or buy your requirements, you do not like to be delayed .If this happens you
will  be excited and. get annoyed .We cannot wait. We have no patience.
This nature is now spread to our spiritual life too .Misunderstanding or carelessness may break our fellowship. We say some thing for our excuse.
There are occasions   we are searching solutions to our problems  up rise then praying to God with a word or two hiding our anger in our heart.
The book of Psalm describe how David   prayed to the Lord to release him when he was in trouble. Psalm   25- 17 Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me* out of my distress.
And see the patience he had v5 - for you I wait all day long.
Verse 21 says
21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me,
   for I wait for you.

What happened at the end, Enemy was defeated by David. But not in a hurry.
When we  have a problem  remember to pray the lord with little bit of  patience. Take steps to prevent wrong things.
Have patience and hopefully wait to get a reply from Lord.
When we are in trouble do not run a way hope a favorable reply.
“ My brothers and sisters,* whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; 4and let endurance have It’s full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.” (James 1: 2 -4)
Remember, God will lift you up through  your  problems when you serve the Lord.

Down to Earth

True humility shown by Jesus
“so down to earth?” Normally, that is about someone who has the potential to be really swallon headed or false pride , but is in fact the opposite—really humble and  reachable  might hear someone talking about a famous star athlete who could be so prideful, but instead people describe him as, “so down to earth.”

Jesus was the most down to earth person—ever.
He had the potential to be the most impressive figure in history. He came from Heaven where He created everything and everyone. He had the power to do whatever He wanted. And He knew the hearts of everyone. also, He was perfectly sinless. Think about what you might do with all the power in the world. Yet Jesus never show off  His own trumpet. He just did what God, His Father wanted. Jesus said, “And the One who sent me is with me—He has not deserted me. For I always do what pleases Him" (John 8:29

Instead of making Himself look great, Jesus cared about making His father good looks.
Same time He  draw the sinful, needy people; except and People criticized Him for it, saying, "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?" (Mark 2:16). See, normally, a celebrity would only like to hang out with other celebrities of great importance. But Jesus liked to hang out with the needy and broken-hearted. Imagine a celebrity who only hung out with poor, sick people! No one I suppose.
What Jesus saying is "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28,29).
Jesus is your down-to-earth Savior. He loves you just how you are and is there for you.
Ask what ever according to hi s will ,he will provide to you.

Sometimes God’s timing may seem a little…slow. He does this on purpose. When would we have time to grow faith and trust in Him if we got everything we wanted the second we asked? No, the Bible says instead, “The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time” (Psalm 145:15). At the proper time is the key phrase here. What are you waiting for? Don’t do it in your own strength; let God make it happen for you. That doesn’t mean that you have no part in it; it just means you don’t act and do something when you know it isn’t what He wants for you.

You’ve got to know that His plan is way better than yours. God did indeed bless Sarah with her own son, Isaac, and he brought her great joy and laughter to see God do such a miraculous thing. But she didn’t have to make the mistake of not trusting Him. Take a moment right now to ask God to help you be patient and direct your paths. You can trust His perfect plan for your life.
